Speakers include Dr. Dawn Adin, program manager for the DOE Office of Biological and Environmental Research, Genomic Science Program, Professor Pal Dauenhauer, professor of chemical engineering and materials science at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Erik Draegar, group lead for the Scientific Computing Group in the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and Dr. David Moore, executive manager of the Carbon Capture Technology team at GE Research.
The DOE Basic Energy Sciences – Early Career Network is a group of graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early career scientists in BES centers. The goal is to share best practices between centers, provide workforce development opportunities, and create a network of early career scientists with a passion for energy science.
