The Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) user facility will host an open science-focused summer school from May 19 to 24, 2024, at Cleveland State University in Ohio. The ARM Open Science Summer School: Connecting State-of-the-Art Models with Diverse Field Campaign Observations is targeted at students who range from undergraduate to postdoctoral scholar experience levels and will feature instructional talks, tutorials, and mentored hackathon sessions where attendees actively work with ARM data and open source software.

The overarching mission of the summer school is to enhance the scientific impact of ARM observations through the instruction of students in new techniques to gain insight into atmospheric processes using open science tools.
